National Directory of Website Solution Providers

As you begin your research for the right Website solution to meet your business's needs, it makes it much easier if you have a starting point.  First, you must know what to ask.  I expect that my book helped you with that.  Next, you must be able to distinguish between quality and hype.

You don't want YOUR business to be an amateur Website freelancer's first project.  (The price may be right, but as you read in Website 411, if you don't get results, you've wasted your time and money.)  You also do not want to pay thousands of dollars for what you think will be an original design, only to have a self-proclaimed Website developer deliver a template from a do-it-yourself program that they bought at the local computer store, simply slapped together with the verbiage from your phone book ad.  (Sorry, folks, it happens.  Buyer beware.)

To make your life a little easier, I've asked thousands of Website developers to add their names to this database.  In the process, I have asked them to provide some samples of their work.  If they indicated that they do Website design, I've asked to see some of the actual sites.   If they perform search engine optimization, I've asked for some references so I can verify the programming code, etc.  It's quite a laborious process, to be honest.  But I believe the end result will be worthwhile to you.

The resulting database contains some very basic information.  Of the solution providers that I feel offer above-board quality, service, value, etc, (both traditional and turnkey), the database gives you their contact infromation and indicates what services they perform.  You can sort the listing by city and state.  Then you can start your research with a few pre-qualified contenders.
